N. Korea slams Japan over abductions
NEW YORK, United States - North Korean delegates speak during the U.N. General Assembly session in New York on Sept. 24. They said their country rejects Japan's accusations over the abduction issue. Japanese Foreign Minister Yoriko Kawaguchi called for a solution the previous day to the issue of Japanese nationals abducted by N. Korea in the late 1970s and early 1980s.
