Cameroon president's plane returns after Russia rejects transit

TOKYO, Japan - A Cameroon government plane carrying President Paul Biya had to return to Tokyo's Haneda airport on Oct. 3 after it was refused entry into Russian airspace due to lack of prior arrangements. Biya, who left Tokyo on Oct. 2 after attending the third Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD), is now back in the Japanese capital and is expected to leave from Haneda airport for Geneva on Oct. 4, government and airport officials said.
