SDP would join ruling coalition with DPJ: Doi
TOKYO, Japan - Social Democratic Party leader Takako Doi speaks at a news conference in the Diet on Oct. 10 after the lower house was dissolved for a Nov. 9 general election. Doi said her party would be willing to join a coalition with the main opposition Democratic Party of Japan (DPJ) if the DPJ is capable of forming a government after the election.
