Gorbachev unveils his monument

NAHA, Japan - Former Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev (L) unveils a monument dedicated to him in a ceremony held in Naha, Okinwa Prefecture, on Nov. 12. The monument features the remark Gorbachev made during his visit to Okinawa two years ago: ''We are all the children of a planet called the Earth.''
