Koizumi vows to explain gov't policy on Iraq dispatch

TOKYO, Japan - Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi speaks at a gathering of businesspeople and journalists in Tokyo on Dec. 2. He said he will explain to the public, probably in the Diet, why Japan has to dispatch troops to Iraq to held rebuild it despite the killing of two Japanese diplomats in the unstable country.
