Nomura Principal signs deal to rescue Huis Ten Bosch

SASEBO, Japan - Nomura Principal Finance Co. signed an agreement on Dec. 6 to rescue the cash-strapped theme park operator Huis Ten Bosch Co. in Sasebo, Nagasaki Prefecture. Nomura Principal Finance President Yoshifumi Kawabata (R), who assumed the post of the administrator and will oversee the rehabilitation process, and other new management hold a news conference after the agreement.
