Thousands protest planned SDF dispatch to Iraq

ASAHIKAWA, Japan - Thousands of people in stage a demonstration rally around a facility of the Ground Self-Defense Force (GSDF) Northern Army 2nd Division in Asahikawa, Hokkaido, on Dec. 14 to protest Japan's plan to send Self-Defense Forces (SDF) troops to Iraq.
