JCP starts 'historic' convention to revise platform
ATAMI, Japan - Tetsuzo Fuwa, chairman of the Japanese Communist Party (JCP), addresses a party convention held in Atami, Shizuoka Prefecture, on Jan. 13. What JCP calls a ''historic'' convention is aimed to revise its 43-year-old platform to formally transform itself from a revolutionary party.
