Nissho Iwai-Nichimen to merge April 1, change name to Sojitz

TOKYO, Japan - Nichimen Corp. President Akio Dobashi (C), flanked by his colleagues, holds a card bearing the new logo mark of a new company to be created on April 1 through the merger of Nichimen Corp. and Nissho Iwai Corp., the core trading house units of Nissho Iwai-Nichimen Holdings Corp. The new entity will be named Sojitz Corp.
