JR East smart card can now be used for shopping, dining

TOKYO, Japan - Actress Keiko Takahashi (R) shows off her Suica rechargeable rail card when shopping at a JR Tokyo Station store on March 22. The card issued by East Japan Railway Co. (JR East) can now be used for shopping and dining at JR stations as well as for traveling on trains.
