Japan to send letter rejecting U.S. proposal on beef row
TOKYO, Japan - Agriculture minister Yoshiyuki Kamei responds to questions from reporters at his ministry on April 2 on U.S. beef imports. Japan will send a letter to the U.S. the same day rejecting its proposal that an international organization mediate in the row between Tokyo and Washington over the import ban on U.S. beef.
