7 million advance tickets for 2005 Aichi Expo sold
NAGOYA, Japan - Toshio Nakamura, secretary general of the 2005 World Exposition in Aichi Prefecture, tells reporters in Nagoya on April 7 that the number of advance tickets sold for the exhibition totaled 7.04 million as of the end of March. The tickets, available at a 20% discount, have been on sale since last September, and the number sold makes up 47% of the targeted 15 million visitors.
