N. Korea leader demands U.S. step back first
BEIJING, China - Cars believed to carrying North Korean leader Kim Jong Il leave the Diaoyutai State Guest House in Beijing on April 29. Diplomatic sources in Beijing said Kim sought a peaceful solution to the nuclear crisis in meetings with Chinese leaders, but again demanded Washington offer compensation first before Pyongyang freezes its nuclear facilities.
