Iraqis see Japan troops as occupying enemy, says Syrian reporter

TOKYO, Japan - Syrian journalist George Baghdadi has said more Japanese may be abducted in Iraq unless Japan convinces Iraqis and Arabs that its troops in southern Iraq are on an aid mission and are not there as part of the occupation forces. Baghdadi, who is visiting Japan at the invitation of the Foreign Ministry, made the remarks in an interview with Kyodo News.
