Japanese woman, 65, scales world's 4th highest mountain
KATHMANDU, Nepal - Tamae Watanabe (file photo), a 65-year-old Japanese woman, reached the top of 8,516-meter Mt. Lhotse, the world's fourth tallest mountain, on May 15, the Nepalese Tourism Ministry said May 16. Watanabe, a retired office worker from Yamanashi Prefecture, is the oldest woman to climb Mt. Everest.
