TOKYO, Japan - Tokyo Gov. Shintaro Ishihara (R) and table tennis player Ai Fukuhara, the last torch bearer in the Olympic torch relay in Tokyo, lit the Olympic flame at the Tokyo metropolitan government office June 6.

                    TOKYO, Japan - The Tokyo metropolitan government marks the 63rd anniversary of massive U.S. air raids in Tokyo during World War II on March 10 with a memorial service in memory of the 100,000 people who died in the bombings. Tokyo Gov. Shintaro Ishihara attended the service, along with Prince Hitachi, the younger brother of Emperor Akihito, and his wife Princess Hanako.
