Japan carmakers push fuel-efficient cars in Beijing

BEIJING, China - Nissan Motor Co.'s fuel cell-powered Effis is displayed at the 2004 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition. Japanese automakers are promoting fuel-efficient and environmentally friendly cars at the show in a bid to enhance their presence in China's competitive market.
