Koizumi not thinking of losing election despite negative polls
MORIOKA, Japan - Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi makes a stump speech for the July 11 House of Councillors' election in front of the Iwate prefectural government building in Morioka on July 5. Koizumi repeated his intention to seek at least 51 seats in the election after media polls showed public support for his Cabinet has dwindled.
