Sit-in protest delays U.S. military airport building in Okinawa
NAGO, Japan - Protesters marked their 100th day of a sit-in July 27 in Nago, northern Okinawa to oppose a planned offshore airport for use by the U.S. Marines, blocking the seabed drilling site off the city.
