N. Korea gives no new info, Sept. meeting proposed
BEIJING, China - Akitaka Saiki, deputy director general of the Japanese Foreign Ministry's Asian and Oceanian Affairs Bureau, tries to listen to a reporter's question at a news conference in Beijing on Aug. 12 after Japan and North Korea ended their two-day working-level talks without any breakthrough. The North failed to provide new information on 10 Japanese citizens who the Tokyo government says were abducted to the North.
