Ichiro reaches milestone with 200th hit
SEATTLE, United States - Seattle Mariners outfielder Ichiro Suzuki became the first player to begin a major league career with four straight 200-hit seasons Aug. 26. Suzuki reached the milestone with a solo homer to center in the bottom of the ninth inning of the Mariners' 7-3 loss to the Kansas City Royals. Suzuki, who leads the American League with a .364 average, went 1-for-5 in the game.(MLB)
