Toyota, Guangzhou Automobile form venture to make Camry

GUANGZHOU, China - Toyota Motor Corp. and China's Guangzhou Automobile Group Co. hold a ceremony Sept. 6 to mark the establishment of the joint venture Guangzhou Toyota Motor Co. to make the midsize Toyota Camry sedan and sell the car in China. Toyota will initially produce 50,000 Camry cars a year at Guangzhou Toyota Motor Co., set up in 2004 jointly with Guangzhou Automobile Group Co.
