Ichiro extends all-time single-season hits record to 260
SEATTLE, United States - The Seattle Mariners' Ichiro Suzuki hits a bloop single to center in the fifth inning of a game against the Texas Rangers at Safeco Field on Oct. 2. Suzuki went 1-for-5 in the game to extend his single-season hits record to 260. He broke George Sisler's 84-year-old record of 257 hits Oct. 1. (MLB)
