TOKYO, Japan - Honda Motor Co. launched a remodeled version of its Legend luxury sedan in Japan on Oct. 7 for the first time in eight years. Powered by a 3.5-liter engine, the new Legend features a Super Handling All-Wheel Drive system that improves stability and maneuverability, Honda said. The car is priced at 5.25 million yen.

Toyota launches redesigned Crown Majesta luxury sedan

TOKYO, Japan - Toyota Motor Corp. on March 26 launched its redesigned Crown Majesta luxury sedan, which boasts enhanced comfort and new safety technologies. The fifth-generation Crown Majesta, the Toyota brand's top sedan, is equipped with a 4.6-liter V8 gasoline engine and has a wheelbase 7.5 centimeters longer than the previous model, providing increased legroom for rear-seat passengers. It comes with a premium sound system that includes 20 speakers, Toyota said. The new Crown Majesta's suggested retail price starts at 6.1 million yen, up from 5.67 million yen for the previous model.
