Poneman urges quick U.S. action on N. Korea nuke issue
WASHINGTON, United States - Daniel Poneman, who served as special assistant to then President Bill Clinton and senior director for the nonproliferation of weapons of mass destruction at the White House's National Security Council, speaks in an interview with Kyodo News in Washington on Oct. 21. Poneman is one of the architects of a 1994 U.S.-North Korean nuclear accord.
