NPB meeting begins for new team selection

TOKYO, Japan - Owners of Japanese professional baseball clubs are seated for a crucial meeting at a Tokyo hotel on Nov. 2 to select a new team to be allowed to join their clubs in the 2005 season. The meeting will choose either Internet shopping mall operator Rakuten Inc. or Internet service provider Livedoor Co.
