Dutch defense chief says Japan troops can protect themselves in Iraq
TOKYO, Japan - Visiting Dutch Defense Minister Henk Kamp speaks at the Foreign Correspondents Club of Japan on Nov. 30. He said he believes Japanese troops in southern Iraq are ''very well able to protect themselves'' even after Dutch troops withdraw in mid-March and dismissed concerns over the area's security conditions
