Former MMC President Tagaya to become chairman of U.S. unit

TOKYO, Japan - Hideyasu Tagaya (file photo), who resigned last month as president of ailing Mitsubishi Motors Corp., will become chairman of the automaker's North American unit effective March 1, company sources said Feb. 15.
