Toyota begins 1st overseas production of Crown model in China
TIANJIN, China - Toyota Motor Corp. President Fujio Cho (C) poses for photos during a ceremony marking the start of its first overseas production of the luxury Crown model in a new plant in Tianjing on March 21. ''We plan to respond to the bolstered momentum in the luxury car market in China by manufacturing Crown for the first time overseas in China,'' Cho said in a statement.
