Japanese wives from N. Korea urge early passage of human rights bill

TOKYO, Japan - Two unidentified Japanese defectors (seated on the left side) from North Korea and one of their supporters are in talks with Shinzo Abe, acting secretary general of the ruling Liberal Democratic Party, at the LDP headquarters in Tokyo on March 28. They called for early enactment of a human rights law aimed at protecting and supporting escapees from the North.
