Williams becomes Wimbledon champion for 3rd time

WIMBLEDON, Britain - Venus Williams of the United States celebrates after beating compatriot Lindsay Davenport 4-6 7-6 9-7 in the women's final match at the Wimbledon Tennis Championships on July 2. Williams regained the title she won in 2000 and 2001.
