BOJ introduces new detector for forged banknotes
TOKYO, Japan - Bank of Japan Governor Toshihiko Fukui poses beside a new automatic counterfeit-bill detector which the central bank began using at its head office in Tokyo on Sept. 9 to help it weed out forged bills. It is the first time for the central bank to update counterfeit-bill detectors in nine years.
