Japan urges Iran to stop uranium conversion, talk with EU
NEW YORK, United States - Japanese Foreign Minister Nobutaka Machimura (L) and Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki pose for photos at the start of their talks at a New York hotel on Sept. 18. Machimura urged Iran to abandon its uranium conversion program and promptly resume negotiations with the three EU members dealing with the Iranian nuclear issue.
