Asashoryu knocks down Kotooshu to close gap at Autumn sumo
TOKYO, Japan - Yokozuna Asashoryu of Mongolia beats sekiwake Kotooshu of Bulgaria Sept. 23, the 13th day of the Autumn Grand Sumo Tournament at Tokyo's Ryogoku Kokugikan. Kotooshu leads the 15-day tournament with 12 wins and one loss, followed by Asashoryu with 11 wins and two losses.
