Media ethics council holds convention in Hiroshima
HIROSHIMA, Japan - Wataru Imanaka, president of the Hiroshima-based newspaper Chugoku Shimbun, addresses a meeting of the National Council to Promote Ethics in Mass Media which opened on Sept. 29 in Hiroshima. About 100 newspaper, broadcasting and publishing groups across Japan will discuss the future of the Japanese media in the two-day meeting.
