N. Korea resuming food rations after bumper harvest

PYONGYANG, North Korea - Ri Gi Song, chief of the economy institute of North Korea's Academy of Social Sciences, speaks during an interview with Kyodo News at a Pyongyang hotel on Oct. 13. He said the country is in the process of resuming full food rations, which have been cut in recent years due to food shortages, following this year's bumper harvest.
