Study meeting held in Bamiyan on preserving cultural assets
BAMIYAN, Afghanistan - A newly established educational and cultural center in Bamiyan in central Afghanistan offers the first study meeting for Afghans on Nov. 24 on how to preserve cultural assets. Shigeo Aoki (C, back), a Japanese expert on preserving cultural assets, gives a lecture. The center, built with funds raised in Japan by a nongovernmental organization, opened in earlier this month.
