DPJ lawmaker Goto to resign after sec'y pleads guilty on scandal

TOKYO, Japan - Democratic Party of Japan lawmaker Masanori Goto (file photo) told his party Dec. 12 that he will resign his House of Representatives seat, taking responsibility for an election scandal involving one of his aides, party officials said.
