Fuwa quits as JCP's Central Committee chairman
ATAMI, Japan - Tetsuzo Fuwa, the opposition Japanese Communist Party's top executive, says he will quit as chairman of the Central Committee due to old age at the close of the party's 24th convention in Atami, Shizuoka Prefecture, on Jan. 14.
