Horie says Livedoor is probing suspected illegal practice

TOKYO, Japan - Livedoor Co. President Takafumi Horie speaks to reporters Jan. 17 in Tokyo after prosecutors ended an all-night raid into the Internet company's head office and other locations over allegations a group company gave false information about a corporate buyout and inflated earnings results to boost its stock price.
