Defense Facilities Administration Agency to be dissolved: Nukaga

TOKYO, Japan - Defense Agency chief Fukushiro Nukaga tells the House of Councillors Budget Committee on Feb. 1 that his agency will disband the Defense Facilities Administration Agency, an entity at the center of a bid-rigging scandal involving the construction of air conditioning systems. But Nukaga denied he will resign as the Defense Agency chief in order to take the blame for the scandal at the entity, which falls under his jurisdiction.
