Japan's consumption tax to face turning point in FY 2009: Ishi

TOKYO, Japan - The government's Tax Commission Chairman Hiromitsu Ishi says in a recent interview with Kyodo News that whether to raise Japan's consumption tax will come to a turning point in fiscal 2009, although a margin and timing of an increase in the tax rate are left to political decisions.
