Iran to continue uranium enrichment, full-scale enrichment eyed
TOKYO, Japan - Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki speaks in an interview with Kyodo News in Tokyo on Feb. 28. He said that Iran will not halt its current uranium enrichment activities for research purposes, even if Tehran strikes a compromise with Moscow to avert a stalemate over the nuclear issue, and is ultimately eyeing full-scale uranium enrichment in the country. ''We are talking about moving together from where we are now and there is no going back. It means the current situation will be kept and will continue,'' Mottaki said.
