Kobe Portopialand to close in March

KOBE, Japan - Kobe Portopialand, an amusement park in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture, will close on March 31, 2006. The leisure facility opened 25 years ago by utilizing the leisure site of the PORTOPIA'81, but has suffered a decreasing number of visitors since the Great Hanshin Earthquake in 1995 and a roller coaster accident in 1998.
