Lower house OKs bill to fingerprint, photograph foreigners
TOKYO, Japan - The House of Representatives at a plenary session approved by a majority vote a bill revising the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Law to fingerprint and photograph all foreign visitors on March 30 as part of its campaign to fight terrorism. The legislation will be sent to the House of Councillors.
