Toyota begins production of Camry car in China's Guangzhou

GUANGZHOU, China - Toyota Motor Corp. began production of its Camry car in the southern Chinese city of Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, on May 23 in an effort to achieve its goal of acquiring a 10 percent share of the Chinese market by 2010.
