Japan offers $2 mil. to World Bank for farm, climate study
TOKYO, Japan - Japanese Finance Minister Sadakazu Tanigaki (L) attends an opening ceremony of the World Bank's annual conference on development economics in Tokyo on May 29. Tanigaki said Japan will extend up to $2 million to the World Bank to help strengthen its research on key development issues such as agriculture and climate change.
