Bridgestone develops thinnest electronic screen

TOKYO, Japan - Tire maker Bridgestone Corp. said May 31 it has developed the thinnest electronic screen in the world. The ''electronic paper,'' with a thickness of only 0.29 millimeter, is expected to be applicable to e-books and hanging posters in trains, among other applications, Bridgestone said.
