State ordered to compensate virus-hit patients via vaccination
TOKYO, Japan - Plaintiffs shows off a ''victory'' banner in front of the Supreme Court on June 16 after the court ordered the government to pay a total of 27.5 million yen, or 5.5 million yen each, to a group of five plaintiffs who or whose relative contracted the hepatitis B virus in their childhood through then-mandatory vaccinations against diseases.
