U.S. to deploy ship able to shoot down N. Korea missiles
WASHINGTON, United States - Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Michael Mullen said in an interview in Washington on July 6 that the U.S. Navy's Aegis-equipped cruiser Shiloh to be stationed in Japan next month will be the first ship capable of intercepting ballistic missiles. He expressed ''great concern'' about North Korea's missile launches.
